WHAT IS GLASS FILTER MEDIA?
Ultra Clear is made from up-cycling virgin plate glass in a dedicated factory designed and operated specifically to produce a very unique glass filter media. It produces particles with an optimal sub-angular, spherical shape. Each sphere naturally has a high surface area which is negatively charged to electrostatically attract and remove metals, small particles and organics from water. Metal oxide catalysts within the glass produce a slight negative charge which ensures that the spheres are self-sterilising.
